Holidays! The sun isn't shining (in fact, it's pouring), but I have holidays which means I get to come up with outfits for sunshine, beach and relaxation. Right? Right.




In other news, I am entirely uncertain about the future of this blog. I don't update nearly as often as I thought I would.

I like heels- I like the way they make my legs look and the way they make me feel just a little more confident. I like how they can dress up pretty much any outfit.

But walking in heels may or may not make your feet hurt somewhat bad and really, is it absolutely necessary to wear heels in order to look great? I played around with polyvore a little and tried to come up with proof that it isn't so:

I love food and I quite like cooking and the feeling of accomplishment it gives me to make something that looks and tastes good. Bonus points if it's healthy and cheap and easy to make, because well. I only have a student's budget to work with and not always (read: almost never) willing to slave away in the kitchen for more than half an hour.

Sooooooo. Last Wednesday (wow, almost a week ago already!) I went shopping with a friend. Which is terrible, because she and I have the same taste and encourage one another to buy lots of things. We always end up buying so much more than we intended.

Now I feel absolutely prepared for summer ♥ What's on your shopping list?

Ever since seeing this post by Katie (Color Me Katie), I've been wanting to do the same. So I bought me some butterflies and shamelessly stole her idea.



And then, while I was at it, I took this glass that my waterplant Lily used to live in (I gave Lily up for adoption, so to speak, and a friend took her in. Now she lives in a bigger glass and has two watersnails to keep her company and the algae off her leaves), filled it up with white stones and put a candle in the middle. It's burning right now and the added light + colour in my room really makes me happy.



What do you do to make your room prettier? Any ideas that you've been wanting to realize for a long long time and just never got around to?

Every time I see my feet, I have to smile. Is there a better way to start the day than sitting up and having to smile first thing in the morning because your toes are all colourful?

I've been wanting a pair of espadrilles for a long time (two summers now) and yet never found a pair I liked and was willing to pay for.

The other day, I came across these:

They were reduced to 44,90€, only left in my size and I fell in love with them at first sight. They're rather high, and while I can walk in them, they're certainly not the most practical shoes I've ever bought. Still, I think they're perfect for the summer.
